This is the first work in a series that encorperates the stylistic aesthetics of artists Norman Rockwell and Joseph Csatari, while intruding more graphical visual languages congruently. I hope that these contrasting visual languages will help to solidify a feeling of past and present. The subject matter in these works will primarily depict images that represent subsets of Mormon culture, a topic with a rich array of material to draw on, and one with which this artist is very familiar.
